By train
Please take a train to Naumburg Main Station. From there, Unstrutbahn RB 77 (START Mitteldeutschland) runs daily on the hour to Wangen Station.
From Wangen (Unstrut) Station it´s approximately 700 m on foot to the visitor centre, which is already visible.

Bus
From Nebra Train Station to the Visitor Centre
The visitor centre is connected to Nebra, Memleben, and Wiehe by Bus line 629 of PVG (public transport in Burgenlandkreis). The line runs hourly between Easter and October with a small bus.

Outlook Mittelberg - Arche Nebra - Kleinwangen - Nebra - Großwangen - Memleben - Wendelstein - Bucha - Wohlmirstedt - Allerstedt
At Nebra Train Station, there is the possibility to change onto line 708 to Querfurt.
From the Visitor Centre to the Discovery site at Mittelberg mountain
The site of the discovery of the Sky disc is located circa three kilometres from the visitor centre, in a nature reserve which houses delicate Flora and Fauna. Therefore, the site is best reached on foot or by bicycle.
Between Easter and October, bus line 629 of PVG (public transport in Burgenlandkreis) connects the visitor centre with the Mittelberg mountain plateau. From the last stop, an additional 300 m walking uphill is required to the site and the outlook.
Schedule
Please note: Currently the bus line is running only every other hour on Saturdays, Sundays and holidays. The Nebra Ark Visitor Centre has no influence on the conducts of transportation by PVG. We apologise for possible inconvieniences. For assistance please ask our staff at the counter.
